  1. Over You's cover is just so beautiful in my eyes. I'm a sucker for covers and sometimes it's bad because my expectations reach the highest level. I hope this one does not fail me. ;)

You have great books in your waiting list! Flawed and Burning Blue interest me  the most. Seems like good novels.

I'm excited for Burn for Burn too! :) Question: Do you watch the series, Secret Circle, if so, isn't that Cassie in the middle? If you're not watching that, disregard my question. :p

  2. Yeah, the cover for Over You is adorable :)

I don't watch Secret Circle, sorry :p To me, the cover for Burn for Burn looks like Pretty Little Liars without Aria...

  3. Over You sounds so cute! Another contemporary which looks very cute is The Boy Recession - it's about what happens in a school when most of the guys transfer to another school and all the quirky guys are at the center of all the girls' attention.

My Life in Black and White is another contemp I'm really happy about, it's a lot like Burning Blue without the hacking.

Great choices you've got! Thanks for keeping us up to date with everything:)

  4. Oh and Flawed sounds as good as Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma! I love these issue books that really make you think about something you thought was taboo in a totally different way.

  5. Lindsey Lost sounds REALLY good, and I love the cover for Over You. It kind of looks like a movie poster...and how cool that it's by the same women who wrote Nanny Diaries!

  6. Boy Recession sounds super-cute - adding it to my wishlist :)

Yes, I'm really excited about My Life in Black and White, too - already pre-ordered a copy! (I think we've talked about that book before :p)

Yeah, I thought that too! But in Forbidden it was consensual, and it sounds like in Flawed it won't be.

  7. Oh that's an interesting twist on the Forbidden storyline! Usually you get sexual abuse as a theme but it happens to a girl because of a father or other older male relative. Not a brother. And this sounds like the brother has other problems as well. Interesting to see how his best friend will deal with the fallout of the friendship.

Yes we've discussed My Life in Black and White! I'm as excited as you are:)

  8. OMG! Burning Blue and League of Strays are what I'm so excited for!!

  9. I'm SO looking forward to Butter ( sounds so twisted yet it's heavily based on a real life problem, two actually - obesity and bullying). Burn for Burn is on my to read list, I'm not sure how I like Jenny Han writing a "supernatural" novel because in my eyes - she's the contemporary author but I'm intrigued! The cover of League of Strays is so catchy but the guy creeps me out. ;) Great picks!

PS - Over You - love the cover!

  10. It's alright! :) Oh yeah, now that you mention it, I agree. You watch/read PLL? :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. I read the original 8 PLL books, but I haven't read the newest ones. And I watched it for a while, but then stopped, for some reason... You?

  12. Yeah, it sounds very unique. I love books that tackle dark issues like Flawed apparently does. And I looove the cover - I have a thing for covers with dying flowers :p

  13. I love The Body Finder series' covers! They're not dying flowers, but they're gorgeous!
