Sunshine by Robin Mckinley. It left so much to the imagination, and it totally worked for me.

Flat-Out-Love by Jessica Parker. I can’t even explain how much I love this book. It’s just so... amazing!

Walking Naked by Alyssa Brugman is a book I’ll always remember. I remember reading it in highschool and thinking about how similar it was!

Holes by Louis Sachar. Another one I had to read in Highschool. Was a great book though!
