Favorite Books of the Month: May

Here's my Favorite Books of the Month vlog! My camera kind of died a few times while I was filming this, so there are a few times where my sentences don't make sense because, well, there's a part of them missing, and then I was totally cut off at the end  - sorry about that!

Gone, Gone, Gone by Hannah Moskowitz (Amazon | Goodreads)
Moonglass by Jessi Kirby (Amazon | Goodreads)
Insurgent by Veronica Roth (Amazon | Goodreads)
We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han (Amazon | Goodreads)
Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper (Amazon | Goodreads)
Something Like Normal by Trish Doller (Amazon | Goodreads)

What were your favorite books in May?

  1. Until now, I haven't read Insurgent. Haha! I'm so tempted to read it but I don't want to burden myself with a cliffhanger! Though I know it's going to be worth it! Arrrgh. Shall I really really really read it? I think I know what's your answer! Haha.

I've been hearing mixed reviews about Gone, Gone, Gone so I didn't put it in my tbr. But the way you gush about it, I think it's worth the read.

I'm afraid to continue the Summer series. I liked the first book! Really did. Didn't just get to connect with Belly at all. But now, I'm really really curious as to why you became sad that much and for them to have a special place in your heart means it's really good. I'll love to see the character's growth!

Wow, you know, I'm on NetGalley! I have been approved of Something Like Normal but I haven't read it. Though I will definitely!

You have great choices for your favorites this month. ;)

  2. I definitely need to catch up on the Jenny Han series, I read the first book quite recently but I'd definitely like to see what happens to Belly in the future!

  4. 1. Read Insurgent! It's SO worth it!

    2. Read Gone, Gone, Gone! I can definitely see how some people could have a problem with Hannah Moskowitz's style - it's basically like unfiltered thoughts, close to stream-of-consciousness, which I guess doesn't appeal to everyone. But the characters are so realistic, and the whole thing is amazing!

    3. Read the rest of the Summer series! I didn't connect to Belly right away, either, but she grew on me. And the boys are so perfect! And the beach setting! And I just love Jenny Han's style :)

    4. Read Something Like Normal!!! It's the kind of book that goes straight to the favorites shelf.

Basically, read all of them :p
