On My Wishlist #14: Anna and the French Kiss

On My Wishlist is a weekly meme hosted by Book Chick City where you can talk about a book you want to read but haven't actually bought yet.

My pick for this week is...

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
(Amazon / Goodreads)

Goodreads description:

Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris—until she meets Étienne St. Claire: perfect, Parisian (and English and American, which makes for a swoon-worthy accent), and utterly irresistible. The only problem is that he's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her almost-relationship back home.

Honestly, the story sounds pretty average to me, but since basically everyone who's read this is swooning over how cute this book is, I want to read it, too!

What's on your wishlist this week?

  1. You're right - the synopsis does sound pretty average, but it's execution is BRILLIANT! I LOVED this! It's one of my favourite reads this year. Hope you love it just as much whenever you end up reading it :D

Hmm, I think mine would be Demonlgass this week. I've been reading all these amazing reviews for it and it's made me want the book so much more. Loved Hex Hall!

  4. I read that way too sometimes. When I feel like every person is buying and particular book or reading one, I want to see what all the hype is. I would like to read this one too.

  7. Everyone has to stop talking about how good this is and putting it on their wishlists because I'm feeling guilty that it's been on my Kindle for so long and I haven't read it yet, lol.

I really hope you get to read this soon and you enjoy it a lot!
