My New Treasures #2

My New Treasures is a weekly feature here at Paperback Treasures to showcase all the books I received over the previous week. I do not take credit for this idea.

I did another vlog this week, and the lighting is bad, but at least you can understand what I'm saying, so I guess it's an improvement....

Won: (thanks to MaryAnn from Chapter by Chapter!)
Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper (Amazon | Goodreads)

Bought:
Moonglass by Jessi Kirby (Amazon | Goodreads)
You Are Here by Jennifer E. Smith (Amazon | Goodreads)
What She Left Behind by Tracy Bilen (Amazon | Goodreads)

  1. Congratulations for winning, Hannah! :) And for your weekly meme too. I like how it sounds. So unique. ;)

Out of My Mind sounds sad. I can't imagine someone who can't either speak or write. That's really depressing! Moonglass sounds sad too. Anna leaving her place and her best friends breaks my heart. :( I agree with you. The paperback edition of You Are Here is prettier than the past editions! I'd love to read that book. What She Left Behind is such a thriller for me! It's kind of scary. :o

Great books, Hannah! Happy Reading. :)

  5. I love the vlog!

You'll love Moonglass! Jessi Kirby is an awesome author, and it's so easy to connect to her characters. You're right, that is such an incredible cover.

I kept trying to read the titles of the books behind you, to see what they were;)

Will you review In Honor? Everyone's saying it's even better than Moonglass and that the romance is sweet and true and runs alongside the main plot of getting over the death of the main character's brother.

  11. Thanks :) I've already started Moonglass and am really liking it so far!

Ha! I always do that, too, when I'm watching other people's vlogs and you can see their bookshelves :pI'll probably read and review In Honor at some point because it sounds like such a good book, but I don't know how soon I'll get my hands on a copy :p

  12. I'm so glad you're loving Moonglass! Jessi Kirby's characters and story are great but I also fell in love with her writing. It's lyrical and beautiful but also very real.

  14. I smiled when you were talking about waiting for the paperback books because you liked their covers.  I often will buy ebooks to read and then wait for the paperbacks to come out for books that I want to own and re-read.  My main reason is because I'm too cheap to get everything in hard cover.  Most of my series are in paperback too and I HATE mixing paperback/hard covers for books in a series...

  15. I'm like that too! My books HAVE to match. It doesn't even have to be a series - all my books from one author have to be in the same format. But I'm too cheap to buy the ebook and paperback, so I often just wait for the paperback if I already have a paperback book from that author.
