This or That with K.M. Walton (Cracked Blog Tour)

Today we have K.M. Walton here for a This or That interview! This post is part of The Teen Book Scene's blog tour for Cracked. You can find out more about the tour here. Make sure to visit all the other stops of the blog tour if you'd like to know more about Cracked!

First, thank you to Hannah for inviting me to Paperback Treasures today!

Summer or winter?
Summer temperatures but Winter clothes. Not at the same time mind you. That would be stifling.

Vanilla or chocolate?
Vanilla cake/pudding but chocolate candy. White chocolate is creepy.

Cats or dogs?
Cats. Have one named Danny. He’s pretty much the best cat ever.

Day or night?
Day. I love getting things accomplished.

Coffee or tea?
Coffee. I even wrote an ode to it on my website (www.kmwalton.com)

Movies or TV shows?
Going to the movies is one of my favorite things to do. Movies win.

Outdoors or indoors?
Indoors. I tend to be a bit of a “inside my house” lover – writing on my laptop for hours on end. But my husband—the quintessential lover of all things outdoors—drags me outside, and I always have the best time.

Hardcover, paperback or e-book?
Hardcover as of a year ago. Then…dum, dum, dum…I needed reading glasses. Enter the best invention ever—The Nook. I can enlarge the print and don’t have to wear my stupid glasses.

Reading or writing?
Writing. It is exhilarating and difficult and it makes me feel alive.

YA or adult fiction? (for reading, not writing)
YA. The level of excellence out there is astonishing. So many amazing YA stories with stunning writing, characters and dialogue!

Typing on the computer or traditional writing on paper?
My laptop and I are deeply attached. It’s a problem ; )

Make sure to check out all the other stops of the blog tour, and keep your eye out for Cracked, which will be releases January 3rd, 2012.

Cracked by K. M. Walton
(Amazon / Goodreads)

Victor hates his life. He has no friends, gets beaten up at school, and his parents are always criticizing him. Tired of feeling miserable, Victor takes a bottle of his mother's sleeping pills—only to wake up in the hospital.
Bull is angry, and takes all of his rage out on Victor. That makes him feel better, at least a little. But it doesn't stop Bull's grandfather from getting drunk and hitting him. So Bull tries to defend himself with a loaded gun.
When Victor and Bull end up as roommates in the same psych ward, there's no way to escape each other or their problems. Which means things are going to get worse—much worse—before they get better….
